The Sacred Fire Heron Dance came to me in a moment of inspiration. The name reflects the intuitive nature of this offering, the bridging of intuition and the the skills, trainings and strength that comes from my training and career in being a professional contemporary dancer.
This offering is for spaces,events and sober festivals who want to invite the body wisdom and prayer to be united with their Sacred Fire.
The Sacred Fire Heron Dance is a 8 minute long solo to be witnessed . The Sacred Fire Heron Dance invites particpants to join in with song and movement, it also allows a chance for those to drop their prayers into the flame and end in resting in presence by the fire, taking in the warmth of the flame as the dance ends. This dance calls in the wishes & prayers of the participants who sit around the fire.
This is a grounded, clean,held offering where I use my professional dance experience and training in Somatic Movement Education to honour the ancestors and embrace the collective in that moment with the anchoring the sacred fire.
