Souls & Cells is a collaboration between Akeim Toussaint Buck and Crystal Zillwood, exploring ancestry and biology - what makes us different and what unites us on a universal level. During 4 months, Akeim and Crystal researched a joint artistic practice with an intergenerational participatory strand – working together in the studio, delivering participation activities and receiving mentorship throughout the process.
Supported using public funded from Arts Council England/National Lottery, and co-commissioned by Déda Derby Dance.
